Passionate about inclusion

The charity is overseen by a passionate Board of Trustees who meet monthly to discuss topics such as the general running and management of the charity, funding requirements, growth, contracts, safeguarding, etc., whilst ensuring all of our policies and procedures are being followed correctly, allowing the charity to be run safely and successfully. The Trustees are managed by our Chair, Richard Taylor.

All of our general day-to-day operational responsibilities are shared amongst 2 full-time staff members, 1 administrator, sessional staff, and volunteers, all of whom go above and beyond their role requirements to achieve a high standard of care.

About me:

I started working at Integrating in 2015 as a Support Worker whilst I was at Sixth Form. Since then, I have worked as part of the day service, and now I am a Team Leader. Outside of Integrating, I work full-time as an Audiologist, and I also have 3 silly golden retrievers at home to keep me busy. Whenever I'm not at work, I like spending time with family and friends, or taking the dogs for a long walk.

About me: I started as a volunteer in 2009. At the time I was working in a nursery. Integrating completely changed my view of working and I knew instantly I wanted to work in the care sector even more. About me: I started working at Integrating as an Administrator in September 2025. I am really enjoying working at Integrating. I love going on long walks, especially on weekends, and I greatly enjoy gardening. Most of all, I love helping people out and enjoying a good chick flick.

We have been lucky enough to have some incredible staff who have grown with us over the years. We are proud of the high standards of service our staff achieve and their commitment to our organisation. We encourage staff progression and offer annual training including Safeguarding and First Aid.

Many of our members of staff have been with us for a number of years, having progressed from volunteer to support worker. Many of those having started with us whilst they were still at school gaining the experience required to create careers in teaching and social care.

We also have holiday staff in order to accommodate those who are off studying at university or who have other work commitments. This allows plenty of employment opportunities for those who can only commit to a set number of weeks throughout the year, giving flexibility to those who require it.
